Curriculum Vitae

I am an online educational management specialist with thirty years experience in learning, teaching, and research practice. My qualifications include a Bachelor of Education, a Master of Education and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Western Australia, all majoring in online learning.

Throughout my career, the focus of my work has been to understand how technology can enhance learning through research to devise effective online learning solutions.

My approach to the application of technologies in education is guided by an evidence-based evaluation framework for determining how educational technologies can support and enhance students’ learning experiences. My vision is to design learning environments that cultivate higher order thinking skills.

At a deeper level, my goal is to continually seek opportunities to enrich learning and teaching by enabling students and their teachers to use technology in ways that assist them to derive insights and meanings from information and to apply their newly acquired understandings to creating new insights and knowledge.

I have worked with many universities and institutes to support of their online learning programmes. Details of these projects are available under “Projects”.
